In a regular briefing at the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters on the day, Yoon said, "As the vaccination has begun in earnest, abnormal reactions have been reported after inoculation," adding, "We will make it transparent as soon as the investigation results come out."
In particular, Yoon added, "So far, about 200 million vaccinations have been conducted worldwide, and in major developed countries, no death cases have been confirmed yet due to side effects of vaccination."

"By the 4th, more than 226,000 people across the country have completed the Korona19 vaccination," Yoon said. "The new semester has begun and children and students are heading to kindergartens and schools, and senior citizens in nursing hospitals and facilities can meet their missed families."
"However, there are still an average of 400 patients a day, and even if we look at overseas cases, the number of patients has increased as the vaccination has begun, easing the alert for Covid-19," he explained.
"Corona19 vaccination is a key means to protect our society from Corona19, and those who are scheduled to be vaccinated should receive preliminary examinations from medical staff according to the authorities' guidance and guidelines," he/she said.
In particular, as large crowds are expected to flock to multi-use facilities such as department stores and large discount stores over the weekend, the facility's operators and managers are asked to be prepared to thoroughly comply with quarantine rules.
"We have already experienced an average of 400 patients a day at the end of last year, rising to 1,000 in four weeks," Yoon said. "We hope that we will continue to follow social distancing and quarantine rules to ensure that the spread of Covid-19 is stably.
