Seoul Facilities Corporation prepares for the era of transformation... Introduction of 'Artificial Intelligence and Big Data' Employee Specialized Training

□ Seoul Facilities Corporation (Chairman Cho Sung-il, www.sisul.or.kr) will introduce professional education programs to improve employees' ability to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) and big data.



The □ Corporation introduced the education with the aim of providing differentiated public services in the public sector as AI and big data are becoming important technologies throughout the industry.

○ In the era of digital transformation, the corporation will conduct related education to apply the high-tech public service to various fields by strengthening its expertise to understand and preemptively respond to key technologies.

□ The corporation has been operating "smart education programs" related to the fourth industrial revolution since last year, and conducted employee surveys in the curriculum. Through this, we have tried to reflect the needs of executives and employees in AI and big data analysis and develop appropriate curriculum to produce results in related tasks of the industrial complex.

○ Last year, the corporation conducted differentiated in-house education so that executives and employees can conduct self-directed learning without interruption in preparation for the post-corona era, such as providing full remote job training and cyber education at all times.



□ This training will first begin on the 16th with 'Artificial Intelligence Trend Course' for industrial complex officials. This process is a process in which team leader-level and higher executives increase their understanding of AI and improve their minds and capabilities to strategically utilize it. Professor Kim Dae-sik of KAIST will give a lecture under the theme of Opportunities and Risks in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. As it is an education for senior officials, the focus will be on finding improvements in public services using AI from the perspective of organizational operations.



□ The corporation will also introduce education such as 'big data analysis and understanding' and 'understanding and utilization of AR and VR' from next month to develop employees' understanding and utilization skills related to AI and big data analysis. In addition, related education will be conducted through cooperation with external institutions such as AI Yangjae Hub and Korea Institute of Public Intelligence. Through this, employees will collect data produced during the work process, turn it into an organization's asset, and use it to provide better citizenship services.
