Ansan City (mayor Yoon Hwa-seop) announced on the 1st that it will recruit participants for foreign start-up support projects along with the Small and Medium Venture Business Promotion Foundation (MEDI) and the Small Business Market Promotion Foundation (Small Business).
The project will be carried out as a pilot project, reflecting the regional characteristics of Ansan City, where the largest number of foreigners reside in the country.
Applicants are prospective start-ups among foreign residents or companies within seven years of start-up, and will be accepted from the 5th to the 30th of this month. Afterwards, the company will receive support for the online startup academy process through a policy briefing early next month.
In particular, the policy briefing session provided explanations for government policy funds and guidance on how to apply, as well as lectures by experts on qualifications, taxes, and labor for start-ups such as visas.
In addition, if a person who has completed the project applies for policy funds at the Gyeonggi Western Division and the Sojin Ansan Center, the company plans to decide whether to lend according to the corporate evaluation and provide follow-up support.
